Originally from Mexico, Karina Llergo is a Chicago-based artist with a profound connection to the human body’s energy and flow. Karina has a diverse background. She has a degree in graphic design and fine arts and has studied contemporary visual arts. She worked as an art director for the Mexican newspaper Reforma and for the advertising agency McCann-Erickson, as well as a freelance graphic designer. Her professional experiences helped her refine her mastery of form and composition. She transitioned from the structured world of graphic design to pursue her true calling: creating fine art that embodies freedom and fluidity.
